I grew up fascinated by computers and the internet — how information spread, how websites worked, why some pages appeared at the top of Google and others didn’t. After completing my M.Sc. in Computer Science from KAHE in 2018, I had the technical foundation. What I wanted to figure out was the strategic side: how do you make a website actually matter to people — and to search engines?

My first years (2018–2022) were spent freelancing — designing and optimising websites for small businesses across Tamil Nadu. These were businesses run by real people who had real stakes in the outcome. That taught me something no course or certification could: SEO is not just about rankings. It’s about revenue, reputation, and sometimes a person’s livelihood. That responsibility never leaves me.

In 2022, I took on the role of SEO Lead at iCliniq — one of India’s largest online healthcare platforms. Over the next two years, I led a team that scaled the website’s organic traffic from 100,000 to over 1 million monthly users. We secured top 3 Google rankings in the US market, achieved 90%+ Core Web Vitals scores site-wide, and recovered 50% of lost traffic following the November 2023 Google Core Update. That experience gave me a deep, practical understanding of SEO at scale — technical infrastructure, content at volume, E-E-A-T for health content, and navigating major algorithm changes.
